YSMF leads advocacy and awareness programs focused on Gender Equality, Human Rights, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights
(SRHR), and Early Childhood Development (ECD).
- Gender Equality & Human Rights: We organize workshops, community dialogues, and school
sessions to challenge harmful gender norms and promote equality.
- SRHR Education:
We educate adolescent girls, boys, and community members on reproductive
health, consent, hygiene, and healthy relationships to reduce teenage
pregnancy and transactional sex.
- ECD Programs:
At our training centers, children under five of teenage mothers benefit
from Early Childhood Development programs. This ensures their cognitive,
emotional, and physical growth while mothers are in training or school.
How we do it: Through interactive sessions, community campaigns,
mentoring, and collaboration with local leaders and Ward Education Officers, we
ensure communities are informed, engaged, and supportive of girls’ rights.
