YSMF works to identify and support the most vulnerable adolescent girls who are
at risk of school dropout, child marriage, or exposure to transactional sex,
which can lead to teenage pregnancy.
- Holistic Support:
We provide bicycles to overcome long distances to school, school
materials, uniforms, and mentorship to ensure regular attendance and
academic success.
- Teenage Mothers’ Re-entry Program: Teenage mothers who have dropped out of school are
supported to return to formal education, ensuring they complete
their studies and gain future opportunities.
- Nursery School:
For children under five of teenage mothers, we run a nursery program that
provides quality early learning, care, and preparation for primary school.
How we do it: We collaborate with schools, community leaders, and
families to track progress, offer guidance, and remove barriers preventing
girls from staying in or returning to school.
