YSMF empowers girls and young women with practical skills to generate income,
become independent, and contribute to their communities.
We provide training in:
- Tailoring:
all types of clothing, including reusable sanitary pads.
- Beadwork & Craft Making
- Detergent Making & Baking
- Beauty & Hairdressing – including managing a small salon.
- Agriculture:
vegetable farming and chicken rearing for income and sustainability.
How we do it: Through hands-on training sessions, mentorship, access to
materials and small start-up kits, and support in finding markets for products.
Girls learn business planning, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship,
so they can turn skills into sustainable livelihoods.
