- Adolescent Girls & Young Mothers Supported: Over 15,000 young women benefited from YSMF’s
programs, including vocational training, mentorship, and advocacy efforts.
- Vocational Training:
500 young women trained in tailoring, beadwork, food processing,
detergent making, baking, beauty & hairdressing, vegetable farming,
and chicken rearing, equipping them with sustainable income-generating
skills.
- Economic Empowerment:
75% of graduates reported earning sustainable income within six
months. Programs like Sote Sawa Group kitenge bag-making and VICOBA
microfinance system provided platforms for self-reliance and
entrepreneurship.
